Sabatino's Restaurant. Awesome Newport Beach Italian Food

Sabatino's Restaurant

Tucked away down a few narrow streets on the Balboa peninsula in Newport Beach California is one of this area's best restaurants; Sabatino's. There aren't any obvious signs pointing the way and finding it can be difficult for first-timers but that sort of adds to the romance of the place. In a part of the world where big chains and strip malls are taking over, its nice to eat at a place that has a sense of secrecy to it. Of course Sabatino's is anything but secret. The lines of people waiting outside and the packed patio and dining rooms are an indication that word got out about this restaurant a long time ago. And for good reason too. Sabatino's isn't just another Italian restaurant. They stick to their roots and present food very similar to dishes found back in the home country of Italy making their menu one of the most impressive I've ever laid eyes on.

Sabatino's is most famous for its sausage. Hand made and decadent in its flavor, it feels almost sinful to enjoy something this much. They've got several different varieties of sausage and we recommend getting an appetizer plate of sausage before your meal. I'm not even a huge sausage fan but when I just think about the Sabatino's sausage platter, my mouth waters and I start thinking of excuses to go eat there...like right now!

Sabatino's on UrbanspoonIn addition to sausage, Sabatino's has a great wine selection and a large menu with many Italian classics. I like to try out the different seafood plates when I'm there as they have never disappointed. Along with the fine food and wine is the courteous and professional staff. Each member of the Sabatino's team expresses a high level of dedication to the customer and they have created an environment that is completely comfortable. When I'm at Sabatino's, I feel special, welcomed and encouraged to enjoy their fantastic food.

Have an important occasion coming up? Or maybe you just want to get out of the house and enjoy a nice evening dining on a patio. Try out Sabatino's. I promise you will have a meal you'll remember for a really long time.

Their great tasting sauces and wines makes most Italian restaurants famous. My kids always ask my wife to prepare pasta during weekends.

It's a good place to visit with a wide selection of dishes. They have one of the best tasting sausage in California.

Being an Italian cuisine lover, my sister's family brought me here while I was on vacation last summer. They have good southern Italian food, and I especially love their Italian sausage. Will definitely visit this restaurant next February.

The service is good and quick here. We've never needed a reservation. The quality of the food is very high. The chicken parm is the best we've ever had, and the penne vodka has the perfect amount of creamy kick to it.
